Danny Edwards retained his place after extending his loan period although new loan signing David McDermott was unavailable with the paperwork still incomplete at the game’s deadline. The fifth win at the Grove maintained the almost perfect home record as the Yeltz climbed back up towards mid-table.  The Ingram brothers, potential new owners of Halesowen Town, made a dramatic entrance by flying in by helicopter to watch the game. Jay Denny was missing from the Halesowen midfield as a result of a gentleman’s agreement between the two clubs after his recent move to the Grove. The result also cost Leamington manager Jason Cadden his job following a discussion with his Chairman immediately after the game.
